A: Disarming Testimony
TanGazelle: Y-your Grace... several days ago, one of our bucks was brought down by a lioness near the second waterhole in Giraffic Park.None of us had ever smelled a lion before—
BeigeGazelle: We were taken by surprise. We didn't know what it was— bigger than a leopard, without any spots. Later we were told it was a lion.
Fred: I witnessed the aftermath of the attack, and collected the identification chip of the deceased gazelle, which I ha— er, will submit to you shortly, Madame.
Fred: When we confronted the lioness, she claimed she had a permit to hunt there, but when pressed, she said she had business elsewhere, and fled. We were unable to pursue he due to being unarmed.
B: Don't Ask
GeneralBriggins: Bluffing a lion, unarmed? Now that takes brass!
LadyMaghotti: How would you know? You let lions live free in your Duchy!
GeneralBriggins: They are all thoroughly cowed!
LadyMaghotti: That must take a hell of a lot of cows.
BaronessBleeknys: What were you doing in Giraffic Park, Lieutenant? I was given to believe that you had been transferred to General Penthesilia's staff in Hyenasport?
Songween: He was escorting my Heir home. I told him to take the scenic route. Any more questions? Ambassador?
