A: Bad Decisions
Sandy: He's a nice guy! He's had it rough. He told me he was abandoned as a baby, with a note pinned to his blanket with just one word on it— "Kosa. It means "mistake" in Swahili. So that's what they named him at the orphanage.
Fred: Oh really—?
Fred: I've heard it hat it was the answer he gave any time he was asked why he was such a trouble-maker— "Why did you throw your porridge on the floor?" "Koz." "Why did you punch that kid?" "Koz." "Why did you steal that airplane—"
Fred: —Oh, wait. That was me.
B: Rules Lawyering
Kathy: So, how much trouble is Koz in?
Fred: Well, a host of military improprieties aside— this is a restricted area. Men aren't allowed in this area.
Sandy: Then what are you doing here?
Fred: I'm an officer. I don't count as a man—
(Sandy gives Fred a look)
Fred: —ohhhh, you know what I mean—!
