Jinjur: Good morning, Murphy—! No need to come to attention...
Murphy: What d'you want?
Jinjur: Nothing. This is a social call, Murphy.
Jinjur: I just want to chat with you a bit.
Murphy: S'yur fault I'm in here.
Jinjur: I had to protect my soldiers, Murphy.
Jinjur: You did pull the head off one of my sergeants... But I can understand why you did it. You're very loyal to the Duchess, aren't you? And... to The Lieutenant?
B: She Won't Understand
Murphy: mm. They're good t'me.
Jinjur: But for how much longer will that be the case?
Murphy: Whuttaya mean?
Jinjur: Well, someday that American girl will be Duchess, and you don't think she's going to let you chum around with The Lieutenant anymore, do you? She's going to be his wife, and she's not going to want other women getting between her and her husband. She just won't understand...
Jinjur: She'll get you transferred off the Home Guard... she might even exile you. Send you away. Far away. You'll never be able to see The Lieutenant again. Oh, she may seem nice now, but mark my words, once they're married, you'll be out!
