A: Can Hyenas Bite Off More Than They Can Chew?
Jade: Usiku, why are you so cruel to her?
Fred: Cruel? It wasn't me who accepted Jinjur's challenge! I tried to warn her! But did she listen? NO!
Fred: I had it all under control, until she had to go and play the hero, biting off vastly more than she can possibly chew! We can't arrest jinjur until after the duel, which buys her time to set her assassination plot in motion! And now I'm expected to fix everything and save the world! Forgive me for being a wee bit irritated with her!
Jade: And so you are punishing her, when you should be supporting her. You will lose her affection if you continue to treat her so poorly.
Fred: I'd rather lose her affection than lose her.
B: Just One More Service We Provide...
Jade: Surely there is a middle ground? One which doesn't involve torture?
Fred: *sigh* It's "The Way of the Platypus."
Jade: Excuse me?
Fred: My tutor, Peregrine Flynn Fletcher... he showed no mercy when he was teaching me martial arts. Beat the living snot out of me. And of course, my mother never showed me any sympathy whatsoever—
Jade: You know this is wrong, and yet—
Fred: Is it? Look at me, Jade— undersized, underweight, poor vision— yet I can whip Koz's butt in a heartbeat.
Jade: Well— that's Koz. I could whip Koz's butt.
Koz: GAAASP!
