A: Hyenas In Love

Horn: Well, there's your answer Keeping Kruger alive to run Rackenroon is more important than some silly prophecy. He's the only one who can do the job. And he can only do it if he's married to Mistress Grssn. She'd listen to him. They'd be a team. What's more— they love each other.

Songween: Weird, isn't it? Hyenas— in love! Hah-hah! Freddy Kruger— IN LOVE!
Horn: You didn't have to watch it happen... what a nightmare!

B: Revisiting The Past

Songween: If only Fisi hadn't been so stubborn when Lucretia tried to betrothe those kids twenty-five years ago... if only Lucretia hadn't been so damned ham-fisted about it...
Horn: How did Lucretia find out about the Grrsns? I thought that it was a big secret that REg was alive and had a family—

Songween: Kinda by accident. Her husband Stirling worked as a lab assistant for Fisi's husband Leonard. Brilliant engineer. Not so good with keeping secrets.
Horn: And he he married your chief of spies...

Songween: To protect him from assassins.
Horn: And you wonder why Fisi was paranoid about her granddaughter.

C: Sparks Flying

Songween (telling story): Leonard did the prosthetics for Penthesilia. Sometimes his daughter Teena would tag along. She and Penny's son Arfur flirted and fell in love. Art didn't know he was my grandson. He didn't know Teena was daughter of a Countess. Fisi knew about Reg, and was horrified to think her granddaughter could be my Heir. But everyone assumed she resisted the match because Teena outranked Arfur. When the grandkids came along, Leo bragged to Stirling that they were "Rackenroon Royalty." Stirling told Lucretia. Lucretia did what she does best— hatched a scheme... ...unfortunately for everybody, it backfired spectacularly...

D: Rejection

Songween (telling story): Lucretia figured that if she could get her son married to my heir, she could have a say in how my country was run. She offered an enormous dowry. I accepted her terms. Fisi told her where she could put her money, and threw her out of the house. I don't think they've spoken from that day to this.

E: Did He Live?

Horn: You knew, all those years, and never told Fred that there was another Heir? Madame, that's—
Songween: It was a closed subject between Fisi and Lou. Nothing I could do. And Lou never said anything to him, either. So there.

Horn: So what changed Fisi's mind?
Songween: As I understand it, Fred challenged Fisi to a duel for the right to propose to her granddaughter... She conceded to him...

(Horn looks shocked)
Songween: ...after she stabbed him a coupla times, but he kept goin'. Plucky little bastard, hee-hee! He did what his mother's money never could do— he earned Fisi's respect.
