A: Just Three Words
Fred: When you revived, I felt more joy than I had ever known. Up until that moment, it had been my duty to sacrifice myself to protect you, but I suddenly realized that I would do that willingly, now— I told you then that I would die for you, but I would much rather live for you. With you.
Fred: I—I realize that I am probably not your ideal of a man, and that you probably would have chosen a far different path, had Fate not intervened... but I have every confidence that, together, we can walk the path we have been given. And I—
Kathy: Shh-hh! The phrase you're so desperately trying to find is "I love you!"
B: From The Heart
Fred: Yes, yes it is! I cannot imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else but you! There is nothing I want more than to be by your side— you have intoxicated me, so that all I can think about is you, and how much you mean to me— nothing else matters, as long as we are together!
Sfx: PLUCK!
(uniform button in hand)
Fred: Miss Grrsn, I don't have much to offer you, but I would be honoured if you would accept me as your husband.
