A: More Precious Than Rubies
Snngween: So how do d'you like riding shotgun with your Bibikubwa, Kiddo?
Sandy: I don't know which luncheon I liked better— the one at the Royal Guild of Tinkers and Tailors, or at the Loyal Order of Soldiers and Spies!
Snngween: Well, I hope you like this next place— there's no luncheon, but it's always one of my favorite stops.
Sandy: An orphanage—?
Snngween: Yep. They give me handmade macaroni necklaces here!
B: The Infantry
Songween: I founded this orphanage about thirty years ago. We had a real problem with abandoned pups— mothers not coming back from wars, unwanted males— it was a public nuisance. The healthy cubs were stealing to survive. The sick ones begged and got underfoot. Some folks wanted 'em shot on sight.
Songween: We had to do something. So I figured if we had a place to house them, feed them, and train them, we could at least turn the little snots into good soldiers. So I had this place built and rounded 'em up. It's worked pretty well for us.
Songween: Ah! Here comes my infantry now!
Orphans: GRAMMA! GRAMMA'S HERE!
