A: Draw Us A Map
Sandy: Well— are you or aren't you? In heat, I mean? Denying it doesn't make it go away, you know...
Kathy: What does it matter? We'll be in Kiyanti by tomorrow night— I can wait until then.
Kathy: Hey, Horn—! When do you think we'll get to Kiyanti?
Horn: Well, the gnus have bolluxed up my estimate, but...
Horn: We're about here. We have to cross the Derchi River here; then it's about twenty miles to Lake Victorinox. Kiyanti likes on the other side of the lake, at the base of Mount Carnassus.
B: Who Comes Up With This Stuff?
Horn: Lake Victorinox is fed by springs flowing out of the mountains. Most of the traffic between Kilbasa and Kiyanti travels along the ciabatta, which winds back and forth across the savannah. The terrain gets progressively rougher and rougher in elevation as you head west toward the mountains.
Horn: There's a third river, the Au, but it flows througn a boulder-strewn whitewater gap in the mountains called the Nunschel Pass.
Sandy: Cute.
