Fred: Mistress Grrsn, welcome to your new home!
Kathy: It's a bit of a fixer-upper... So— You gonna carry me over the threshold?
Fred: Oh, I hardly think that would be appropriate at this—
(Guards cross pikes)
Sfx: CLANG!
B: You Shall Not Pass!
Guard: State your business!
Fred: We are here to see the Duchess—
Guard: No one gets in to see the Duchess!
Fred: But we are here on her express orders!
Guards: Show us your orders!
Fred: Now see here— I am her Adjutant, Lieutenant Frederick Kruger—
Guard: Lieutenant Kruger? Lieutenant Kruger? Lieutenant Kruger was transferred to America months ago!
