Bonita: They're the artisans here. They trade finished products for the materials to make things— ivory, fiber, feathers, pretty stones—
Kathy: I guess that's what Fred meant by "There's lots of money in Rackenroon, the government just can't get its hands on it" —they can't tax barter!
Bonita: Oh sure they can! Getting people to pay is the trick!
