Caption: LATER THAT DAY, AT THE OFFICERS' CLUB:
Vyschuss: Pfo why'd ya call me back outta da field?
Jinjur: We have a problem. She's five-foot-four, blond, with a low center of gravity. Apparently the Duchess has decided to adopt some pretender that The Weasel has procured from America to cut us out of the line of succession.
B: Heirs Presumptuous
Vyschuss: Pfo what? Tha' leffs uff off da hook, don't it?
Sfx: snuffle slurp
Jinjur: I don't want to be "off the hook!" I am an elder sister— this is my only chance to have anything for myself! If I don't become Duchess, I will have nothing but a spot serving in my youngest sister's house!
Vyschuss: F'cuze me— who fayf you get t'be da Dutcheff?
Jinjur: Ah, pardon me, Cousin! My mind is in turmoil. I forgot our agreement.
