A: For The Good Of Everyone
Sandy: Wouldn't it just be easier to— I dunno— go stop the lions?
FutureFred: We made numerous calculations. If he— if we— do not fall in love with your sister, it still won't do any good. We need to be a united team, for the ultimate good of the country.
FutureFred: The real battle is in his— in our— heart. She's a good person. Let her in. She can help you in ways you've never imagined.
FutureFred: Be proud, Miss Grrsn. You died a hero's death, throwing yourself between Kathryn and the lions. It should have been me who died...
B: Shame And Humiliation
Sandy: How do... did... will... er, what... happened?
FutureFred: The night before the wedding, there was an argument. Hurtful words were exchanged. My pride was offended. I stormed out.
FutureFred: I could not be found anywhere. You were in the bridal chamber when the lions broke in. I was accused of conspiring with the lions. I have my suspicions as to who the real culprits were...
FutureFred: I took the blame. I was publicly humiliated, stripped of my commission, my mane shorn, my property seized, and condemned to a life of disgrace and exile. It is a fate far worse than death.
