Fred: Miss Grrsn, please listen. I am not happy about this, either, I assure you! I think it is silly and archaic. I, too, would prefer to be allowed to choose my own mate.
Fred: But it is my family's privilege to marry into the House of Rackenroon, and as I have said, my family is very traditional...
Fred: ...so for the moment, let us humour our formidable forbears, shall we? Who knows— plenty of young people who did not care for each other at first, have become quite devoted couples.
