Baasil: Yes, I saw!
Eustace: I was scared at first coz I thought it would hurt— but not as scared as Baab and Baabra—! It did hurt a little, when the Preacher put it on, but now I can't even feel it!
Eustace: The Preacher says I'm part of the flock now, "for better or for worse." What's thatmean, Daddy?
Baasil: It means you should be glad I don't consecrate you to the priesthood.
