Arf: Listen. Don't buy all that stuff about "proper alliances." Teena's mom didn't want her to marry me because I was going to learn a trade and support myself... and my mom didn't want me to marry Teena because she was getting a degree in Housekeeping! It was a great scandal.
Scooter: So how did you convince them to let the two of you get married?
Arf: That was another great scandal...
