Walter: Scooter, demographics show that the main audience for our newspaper are unmarried, thirty-something career women with poor self-esteem, almost no social life, and who dote on their pets. I've decided to try to make "Die Veldt" more interesting to these readers.
Walter: You know how highly competitive the media industry is— you either adapt or die! Now, I know you enjoy drawing "Pepe the Fire Ant," but I think you should come up with a new comic strip which will appeal more to our target audience.
Scooter: Like what?
Walter: Oh, I don't know... something about a middle-aged, over-weight, single career girl who obsesses about fashion, and who has some quirky pets... maybe one's fat and lazy and sarcastic, and the other thinks it's a World War One flying ace...
Scooter: Aack! Good grief!
